Ending Hunger in our Lifetime
Rise Against Hunger Africa, with your help, is able to make a real impact on hunger in our life time. Through our strategic approach to feeding children at Early Childhood Development Centres (ECDs) , Sustainable Farming Projects and Disaster Relief Activities, we are eradicating hunger one meal at a time.
Eradicating Child Hunger in Southern Africa
through Education & Nutrition
What WE DO
Meal Packing events
Our fun and engaging meal packing events give both corporate employees and volunteers an opportunity to make a lasting impact in as little as one hour.
Sustainable farming
Through our Sustainable Farming projects, we are able to empower individuals in the community through skills development, creating micro enterprises and providing fresh produce for our ECD centres.
DISASTER Relief
At any given time, a percentage of our meals are available for immediate response to various disasters around the country. We are able, through our expanding partner network, to reach people who have been the most affected by disasters.
Making an Impact Since 2010
Rise Against Hunger Africa was launched in South Africa in 2010, originally under the name Stop Hunger Now. With offices in six countries and a history in the US spanning 25 years, Rise Against Hunger has aligned itself with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Zero Hunger, Good Health & Well Being, Quality Education & Partnerships. Our key focus is linking good nutrition with education.
